Planning
- Each year, the clubs present a preliminary plan that is discussed and adopted in the 1st meeting.
- The execution of the plans is evaluated in the following meetings, and the plans are adjusted accordingly.

Needs assessment and capacity building
- Every club conducted capacity building for their members, either in the form of sessions or tutoring.
- Journal club started the use of needs assessment to design the capacity-building plan.

Meetings
- Meetings and done for planning, assessment of execution, and development.
- 12 general meetings have been conducted.
- Each club conducted several of their meetings for planning their work throughout the year.

Evaluation and feedback
- Feedback forms have been created for evaluating the MMRS members, sessions, workshops, school. sessions, research studies, supervisors, and students who participated in summer research opportunities.

Documentation and reporting
- All of MMRS work is documented in the form of meeting minutes and reports.
- All used materials are uploaded to a Google Drive.

Development
- At the beginning of each year, we decide the needed changes, mainly considering the MMRS structure, the team's job description, and MMRS activities.

Clubs

Research ideation club

Accomplishments
a. Database for doctors interested in working with students (around 60 doctors included)
b. Announcement for opportunities to work with doctors (2 announcements) and ensuring communication     between the doctors and the chosen students, through a selection process
c. Helped build student groups for the MERC grant 2023 (3 teams with 21 students and a supervisor for each group)
d. Summer Research Opportunities program ( 11 teams in 11 different specialities with 42 students)
e. First-year Phase I and II School planning, organisation, follow-up, and teaching (2 application sessions with 1 assignment)
f. Supervising research teams as a graduation project for first-year school programs
g. Annual research day organisation (2023, 2024)
h. Second-year basic and advanced school planning, organisation, follow-up, and teaching (5 lectures, 6 application sessions with average attendance of 85 students per session, and 3 assignments)
i. Developed a standardised portfolio for school students to document their progress within the MMRS school
j. Compiled a list of pharmaceutical companies recommended for research collaborations

Journal club

Accomplishments
Conducted 8 Journal Clubs for medical students, especially for the MMRS school, since the day of establishment, covering mostly these topics:
- Critical appraisal and papers discussions using checklists of reporting for different study designs (5 sessions)
- Application sessions after the academic sessions (3 sessions)
- Assignments after academic sessions using research papers (1 assignment)
- The first club to conduct the first evidence-based training or competency module for the Journal Club team members and the entire MMRS Society members to effectively execute their plans throughout the year and become competent mentors for the MMRS School research projects (2025)
   - It was composed of 8 sessions
  - Covered the basic research topics, including research process, statistics, methodologies, criticalappraisal, leadership, and documentation
  - +40 Society members attended the training
- Conducted 2 workshops for medical students outside the MMRS school in research methodology and medical statistics with 60+ participants (2025)
