The Sixth Annual Student Scientific Research Day- Mansoura Faculty of Medicine Held on 4 November 2025

Under the patronage of Prof. Ashraf Shouma, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Mohamed Al-Fahhar, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Alaa Wafa, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Ahmed Negm, Director of the Mansoura Manchester Program for Medical Education, the Sixth Annual Student Scientific Research Day-Mansoura Faculty of Medicine was held on 4th November 2025.

The organization of this distinguished event was carried out under the meticulous supervision and planning of Dr. Emad Magdy Shouky, Assistant Professor of Nephrology at Mansoura Faculty of Medicine, and his team. Their significant efforts were instrumental in shaping the concept of the day, implementing it, and ensuring its notable success by supporting students and encouraging them to present their research and scientific projects in an environment that fosters creativity and excellence in research.

The event witnessed wide participation from students across all academic years and featured a range of outstanding student research presentations. This reflects the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to developing research skills among its students and nurturing innovative talents, in line with the University’s vision for academic and research excellence.

• 200 student research projects submitted for participation
• 60 research projects selected for presentation during the day
• 15 Egyptian medical schools participated at the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University
• 800 students from various medical schools attended the event
• A distinguished professor from the faculty, recipient of the State Appreciation Award and the Nile Award, was present
• 10 faculty members shared their expertise in encouraging and supporting student research
• 15 students presented their inspiring experiences in scientific research, grants, and international publication
• 10 research projects were recognized as the best participating projects
• 50 alumni of the MMRS formed the scientific committee
• 50 students from the Student Union formed the organizing committee
• 550 students applied for the entrance exam to the School of Scientific Research the following day
• 5 new student grants were announced with the support of the Mansoura-Manchester Program to form outstanding research teams
